Mitzie earned her BFA, with honors thank you very much, from Tyler School of Art/Temple University. She also served on the executive board of AIGA Philadelphia for more than three years, where she authored and produced the first two Pencil to Pixel events, geared toward teaching interactive design to print designers.

Mitzie works as an interaction designer, illustrator and sometimes, as adjunct faculty. Before returning to school, Mitzie's professional experience included marketing, graphic design and front-end programming for web and software interfaces.

In her free time, Mitzie enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the beautiful upstate New York outdoors, taking pictures, and occasionally, writing in third person when crafting her bio. mt
