nation. Topics covered provided insight into the reasons
behind increased community collaboration and the role
of technology and the web. A case study of how one successful
rural community is collaborating to deliver healthcare

WOMEN'S ENTREPRENEURIAL THURSDAY
DEBRA PARRISH, ESQ. of Parrish Law Offices and CARLTON
KETCHUM of Morrell Butz & Junker sponsored the first
Professional Women's Entrepreneurial Thursday networking
event, featuring Women of Science. The evening was very
well attended, and the following women entrepreneurs participated
in open-mike interviews to discuss their recent ventures
and thoughts on Pittsburgh's entrepreneurial community:
RUTH MODZELEWSKI, PhD, of the University of Pittsburgh;
NANCY DECKANT of Soleil Technologies; and MARY DEL BRADY
of BioSpace Development Company. Ms. Deckant shared the
latest trends in wireless technologies. |
